Lindsay Krieg
After finishing her undergraduate studies at Washington College in Drama and English, Lindsay went on to do her graduate work in Theatrical Production Management at Carnegie Mellon University. She went on to work at a number of regional theaters, including the Philadelphia Fringe Festival, Amaryllis Theater Company, and Philadelphia Theater Company, where she was the Associate Production Manager for 6 years. During that time, she also co-founded The Cardboard Box Collaborative with fellow alumna Mindy A. Beers '01, a Philadelphia-based theater company specializing in the development of new theatrical works.
Lindsay has recently parlayed her theatrical knowledge into her freelance work in talent management and event planning. She travels, both domestically and internationally, helping to plan and organize conferences and events, mostly in the field of physical and electronic security, while still consulting on theatrical projects at home in the Philadelphia area.
She also keeps busy with volunteer work as a member of the Washington College Alumni Alliance, Class of 2000 Reunion Committee, and helping to raise funds for the new Gibson Performing Arts Center. She also gives her time to a number of local theater organizations, as well as the United Service Organizations (USO).
Lindsay fulfilled her senior thesis obligation at WC by directing a production of Love's Fire. Her favorite WC productions include Lebensraum (1996) and The Fantasticks (2000), which she produced along with Jillan Matundan '01. Her thoughts on the WC Drama Experience: "The most important things Washington College Drama taught me are a strong work ethic, the importance of collaboration, and a sense of self-reliance. And that 'sharks... they've... been around a long time... um...'."
